Young Hope
Young Hope is a kingdom community based in Houston, Texas, serving all over the world. We have a deep desire to see Jesus' Kingdom come on earth as it is in Heaven, to see young people released and freed up to use all of the gifts and passions that they were created to use.
We seek to come alongside many existing ministries in the Houston area and provide support and encouragement to them. We want to be involved in what God is doing in places where the world may say there is not much hope.
We also believe in having strong community and inviting others into our community at different times of the year. We want you to see the passions God has placed in your heart grow and just run in whatever direction He leads you. If in your time at young hope you find God pulling you towards one of these ministries in particular, we will help you to be more involved in them in your time with us.

Young Hope Ministry Opportunities
1960 Homeless Ministry
Build relationships and pray for the homeless under the 1960-45 Bridge. Provide them a simple meal and necessary items like blankets and toiletries. Tuesdays 6:30pm-7:30/8pm. Can also volunteer by donating money for the meal and toiletry items and blankets.
Montrose Street Church
Church service on the streets of Houston, followed by a meal for the homeless/street people. Childcare provided. Opprotunities to pray with people, serve food, watch children, set up/tear down, sponsor a meal once a month for either children or adults, donate clothes, shoes, toys, toiletries, etc. Wednesday Nights 6:30pm-9pm. Great for Youth.
The Bridges
Skateboarding/Craft ministry with kids in poor apartment community. 8 week program going on to motivate the kids to learn bible verses and skateboarding tricks/crafts. Friday afternoons from 4pm-6pm. Great for Youth.
The Streets
Worship and prayer in the Montrose area, followed by walking the area, passing out food and water, and talking/praying with the people. Mainly homeless, prostitutes and transvestites in this area. Friday nights 8:30pm-Midnight.
Youth Reach Boys Home
Opprotunities to mentor/build relationships with troubled teenage boys. Young Hope currently does a Saturday afternoon bible study there, 3pm-5pm.
Five Oaks Ministry
Build relationships with the kids/families in this local trailer park by having picnics and playing soccer. Partner with local house church to bring Jesus into the community. Goal would be to start after-school programs/youth groups. Sunday's 1pm-3pm. Great for Youth.
Anchor Church Outreaches
Various outreaches throughout the year at an urban church downtown. Church meets sunday evenings.
Little Footprints Adoption Agency
Opportunity to become rescue parents/foster parents/ permanent adoption. Classes are various times throughout the year. Coming to street church will give you such a heart for these kids.
Womans HIV/AIDS Home
Bible study for women living in the home.
Redeemed Ministries
Strip Club/Brothel Ministry for women.
Gulf Coast Girls Detention Center
Events once a month for teenage girls held in the detention center.
Financial Giving
A great way to serve. Money will go to ministry expenses, helping Young Hope staff with living expenses, gas for traveling to ministries. Tax credit available.
